Rosalind Franklin Fellowship at KVI, University of Groningen


Candidates should have international experience of at least two years

Fellowship Description: The University of Groningen (RUG) invites applications from female academics to fill 22 tenure track positions now available in its prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme. The programme aims to increase the presence of women at the highest levels of the institution. One Fellowship is available at the Kernfysisch Versneller Instituut (Accelerator Institute). We are looking for ambitious, creative women who aim for a career towards full professorship in a European top research university.

Applicants ideally have
* a PhD degree and post-doctoral experience of at least three years
* at least two or three publications per year in international, high quality, peer      reviewed journals
* international experience of at least two years
* experience in supervising research projects
* teaching experience and qualifications
* organizational qualities and communication skills
* experience in acquiring research funds

Successful candidates will set up their own research project(s) in the area of their expertise and will be expected to establish their own research program and to attract external funding. They will also contribute to the development of the teaching programmes within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
